HALO LIC | 44-51 PURVES STREET
QUEENS, NEW YORK
Interior Design of a 25-story new construction residential building consisting of approximately 284 apartment units. The conceptual design consists of a unique blend of brick, curtain glass walls, and corrugated perforated metal panels. Floor to ceiling windows will flood the apartments with natural light and an oversize I-Beam canopy with backlit corten panels create a grand entrance to the building. The common areas were designed with a circular/spherical-inspired concept in mind starting in the Lobby with the stair opening, metal floor reveals, custom antique mirrors at the ceiling and custom in-ground seating area with fire pit. The lobby also features a laser-cut perforated corten reception desk and grand curved staircase with steel open risers and exposed suspension rods. Throughout the common areas, distressed brick veneer and reclaimed wood paneling create a very modern rustic vibe.
