Briq-128 East 32nd Street
Interior design of approximately 50.000 square feet commercial office building. Designed to respect the character of the Brooklyn building’s character, the exterior of the structure showcases original brick and black framed windows, while providing a modern update through an angled wood slat tunnel at the entry, and exaggerated steel signage. Roll-up windows allow for an open storefront feel during warmer months, and double story windows pour natural light in to the main lobby. Minimal modern black pendant lighting hangs suspended between the lobby’s exposed original wood ceiling slats. Framed glass interior doors open to the large office area, which has exposed ceilings and vintage inspired light fixtures. Baseboards throughout the office building are offset slightly to create an LED glow that extends throughout the corridors. Custom neon signage and floor to ceiling graffiti murals add an element of fun to a startup office environment, whose amenities are to include a game room, business lounge, dining area, gym and yoga room, and large private meeting rooms.
