523 Franklin (1134 Fulton Street)

Interior design of a 177-unit residential building located in the neighborhood of Bedford-Stuyvesant. 1134 Fulton’s interiors exhibit a modern-industrial style, as you enter the lobby, raw steel with combined dark-toned materials relay a chic yet raw aesthetic. Inhabiting the same space are elements of white marble and wood introducing warmer emotions to the space. Raw steel framed metal mesh dresses the walls and ceilings in intervals creating pockets of negative space elevating the raw and elegant nature of the public spaces. The same materials continue on to the residential hallways maintaining a certain consistency throughout the interiors. As you enter the rentable spaces, beautiful contrasting stone tiles line the bathroom floor and walls with moments interrupted by rustic wood applied to the custom made vanity and mirror frame. The kitchens are treated in a similar manner with warm wood highlights paired with an elegant stone backsplash and mid-tone cabinetry.
