Interior Design of a new construction Residential building including 146 rental units and 160,000 sq. ft. What was once a factory called the Castle Braid Company where clothing trims were produced is now morphed into a state-of-the-art living space for artists and young professionals. Amenities at the CastleBraid now include a doorman, common area, gym, movie screening room, laundry center, library, rotating art exhibits and game room, featuring billiards and Nintendo Wii. Concrete floors are printed with patterns, staircases take unexpected forms, and walls are built specifically so that artists can use them as canvases. There is a glass bridge with a bench in the courtyard and a bathroom with one-way glass walls so that those inside can look out into the lobby. Colorful botanical wall coverings, geometric ceramic tiles and other modern elements complement this project.
