BUSHWICK HOTEL
Brooklyn, NY
Interior design of a 9-story 240 key hotel located in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Sitting in the edgy and hip Bushwick neighborhood, the hotel lobby is designed as a place that blurs the boundaries of an entry, bar, meeting, and workspace. The design captures the cool aesthetics of the surroundings’ industrial heritage and combines it with a luxe palette of materials.
The reception desks are set off against a wall with an opening providing views to the elevator lobby behind and an integrated fireplace. The custom rope light over the concierge and the exposed ceiling emphasizes fluidity and movement at the entrance level.
Located across the library lounge, a branded wall with a custom mural act as the information hub and leads to the elevators. Guests arrive at elevator lobbies on every level, where lighting and artworks are essential to design elements.
The rooms embody the core themes of modern design and industrial feeling, all linked through clean lines, subtle colors, modern furniture, and local artists’ artworks. From the lobby and amenities to the rooms, furniture, fixtures, art, and graphics found throughout the space, every element contributes to an overall experience to create an innovative, luxurious hospitality space.
