310 Grand Concourse

Interior design of 2 residential buildings located at 310 Grand Concourse. The public interiors were designed around the aesthetics of “coffered ceilings”. Elements from the coffers were extracted and implemented as an industrial member at the main lobby ceiling which continues down to the walls and floors. At the reception area, the space is highlighted by a neon sign emitting a mid-century modern atmosphere in combination with the industrial and modern style. The amenity spaces begin to utilize the paneling style as a means of isolating/indicating seating arrangements, dividing spaces, wall paneling, and custom millwork. At the residential levels, shaker panels were selected for cabinetry to mirror the appearance of the coffered paneling.
